Privacy policy

When you order or enquire: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and any notes you send us. When you subscribe: your email address only.

This website stores your bag, wishlist and any order or enquiry you create in your own browser's local storage, on your device. That data is not transmitted to a server by the website itself.

To quote shipping, produce and deliver your order, invoice you, answer your questions, and — only if you asked for it — send occasional studio news. Under POPIA the lawful bases we rely on are performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the studio, and your consent for marketing.

The studio, and the courier we use to deliver your piece. Where you choose to contact us over WhatsApp or email, those messages sit with those providers under their own terms. We do not sell or rent personal information, ever.

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as South African tax and company record-keeping requires. Enquiries that don't become orders are kept only as long as they are useful, then deleted. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to marketing at any time. Email pholintrading@gmail.com or WhatsApp +27 72 087 1324. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

This site uses browser local storage for your bag, wishlist and your privacy choices so they survive a refresh. Those are strictly necessary and always on.

Analytics and marketing tools — such as Google Analytics 4, and the Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn advertising pixels — are off by default. Nothing loads and no measurement event is recorded until you accept the relevant category in the privacy banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.

When you do consent to analytics we record which pages and pieces were viewed, and which campaign or social link brought you here, so we know which work is worth making more of. With marketing consent, the platforms above may also use that activity to show you LOWE pieces on their own apps under their own privacy terms.

Following, sharing or messaging us on a social platform happens on that platform, under its terms. Sharing buttons on this site are plain links — they load nothing from those platforms until you click them.
